Transcript:
You must upload unofficial copies of transcripts, mark sheets, and diplomas, in English translation. If you are admitted, official documents will be requested at that time, of both original language and official English translations for all academic credentials not originally issued in English, along with submission instructions.
Personal Statement:
Applicants must submit a short statement of purpose (2–3 pages) that should address the reasons for wishing to do doctoral work at UIC and the relationship of this work to their professional and career objectives.
Recommendation Letter:
Three required, preferably from professors and others who are familiar with the applicant’s potential for serious academic work.
Writing Sample:
Applicants must submit a sample of their written work (approximately 25 pages).
