The University of Minnesota requires using World Education Services (WES) evaluation services for a course-by-course foreign transcript evaluation (FTE). This evaluation must be sent directly to PharmCAS( http://www.pharmcas.org/preparing-to-apply/what-youll-need-to-apply/transcripts/ ).A WES course-by-course foreign transcript evaluation showing all coursework completed at the time of application is required for all applicants who have taken international coursework, unless the credit appears as transfer credit on a U.S. transcript or was taken at a Canadian college or university at which the language of instruction is English (French Canadian institutions require a foreign transcript evaluation). More information can be found on the PharmCAS website. Foreign transcript evaluations must be sent directly to PharmCAS.
Personal Statement:

Make sure your essays clearly communicate why you want to pursue a career in pharmacy, how your experiences and strengths relate to your future career, and challenges in the profession.
Recommendation Letter:
Choose at least three recommenders (up to four are allowed) from a variety of sources, such as college professors, work supervisors, volunteer supervisors or research supervisors. Only choose recommenders that know you well in a professional capacity; no family, friends or clergy.
The letters of recommendation are submitted through PharmCAS. Before designating your PharmCAS recommenders, try to schedule an in-person appointment with each of your recommenders to let them know why you want to pursue a career in pharmacy and how your experience with the recommender is important for your application. Be sure to plan ahead so that recommenders have sufficient time to submit their recommendations before the application deadline.

3. Please explain how you came to identify these career goals. (Maximum 999 characters, including spaces)
4. Our admissions committee will also consider unique factors that will contribute to a diverse student body when making admissions decisions. Discuss how you will contribute uniquely to the diversity in the PharmD program and pharmacy profession. (Maximum 999 characters, including spaces. Factors including but not limited to: academic, professional, or geographic background, race/ethnicity, first generation college student status, challenging or disadvantaged background, and ability in multiple languages)
