Transcript:
Complete transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate level studies undertaken at all schools. These must be official and translated into English if the original language is not English (in this case, both the exact copy of the transcripts in the original language and the English translation must be submitted). You must scan your official transcripts (not an online printout) and upload the documents into the online application as part of the submission process. When admitted, you must submit an official paper version of your latest transcript(s) to both the Department of Statistical Science and the Cornell Graduate School.
Curriculum Vitae:
A resume, which is optional but does assist the admissions committee with evaluating your background
Personal Statement:
Each applicant must submit a statement of purpose. The statement of purpose is your opportunity to help reviewers better understand your academic objectives and determine if you are a good match for the field to which you are applying.
Length and Format:
The statement should be one or two pages. Include your full name and the proposed field of study at the top of each page. Please use a standard font and font size for ease of reading.
Topic:
The statement of purpose should include your reasons for undertaking graduate work and an explanation of your academic interests, including their relation to your undergraduate study and professional goals.
Some fields ask that you address particular questions in your statement of purpose. Please check with your field for field requirements.
Recommendation Letter:
Two academic letters of recommendation. You may also submit a professional reference as the third letter of recommendation if you have one
