The Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) of ETH Zurich is located in Basel, a European hotspot for biomedical research, in close proximity of the University of Basel, the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research, and the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. The Computational Biology (CoBi) Group, D-BSSE, ETH Zurich focuses on image-based modelling and simulation of developmental processes with applications in bioengineering. PhD student in Mathematical Modelling / Scientific Computing for in silico Organogenesis The PhD student will focus on image-based modelling of organogenesis - the detailed project will be defined together with the student to match his/her interests.
