Personal Statement:
Statement of Purpose - Describe your motivation, academic preparation and aptitude for graduate study at UC Davis; academic plans and research interests, specialization within your academic field, research experiences and career goals. – 4,000 character limit including spaces
Recommendation Letter:
Three (3) letters of recommendation, which must be submitted electronically. Your on-line application will automatically notify your referees (via e-mail) and provide them with instructions on how to submit letters.
Additional Statement:
Discuss personal background that informs your decision to pursue a graduate degree. Include any educational, familial, cultural, economic, or social experiences, challenges, or opportunities relevant to your academic journey. Include how your life experiences contribute to the social, intellectual, or cultural diversity within your chosen field; and / or how you might serve educationally underrepresented segments of society with your degree. – 4,000 character limit including spaces.
