2017美国公共卫生专业典型学校录取分析

典型学校录取分析，主要包括Johns Hopkins University、Pittsburgh、University of North Texas Health Science Center三所学校。

1. Johns Hopkins University

Johns Hopkins 是公卫专业里面的NO.1 , JHU的公卫学院设置的专业分支比较细致, 即使已经有流行病学这个分支, 但是学校还是另外设有把微生物技术结合了免疫学的方向。JHU的School of Public Health包括公卫的传统Department，例如： Biostatistics、Environmental Health Sciences、Epidemiology、Health，Behavior and Society、Health Policy and Management、International Health、Mental Health、Population, Family and Reproductive Health。除此之外，JHU的School of Public Health还有两个特别的分支：Department:Biochemistry and Molecular Biology、Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology。

JHU School of Public Health的大部分专业对托福的要求是IBT100，GRE required但是没有注明具体分数要求，成绩单需要WES认证。JHU的Public Health不需要通过SOPHAS来申请(关于SOPHAS系统，我会在附件介绍)。

JHU的学费也是贵的出名，公卫学院的tuition fee 是JH Full-time tuition: $8,736 per term，一年有五個TERM，这样算下来一年要将近5W刀!

JHU School of Public Health的Doctoral Program有PhD、The Doctor of Public Health(DrPH)、The Doctor of Science(ScD)。

JHU School of Public Health的Master Program有The Master of Health Administration (MHA)、The Master of Health Science (MHS)、The Master of Public Health (MPH)、The Master of Science (ScM) 。

除此之外，JHU的公卫学院还有一些Combined Program，比如MPH/ DrPH,MPH/ MBA,MPH/ MSW,MPH/ MSN,MPH/ JD,MPH/ RD,MA/ MHS,BA/ MHS,MHS/ MSSI,MHS/ RD,MD/ PhD,ScM/ PhD,MHS/ Doctoral。

2. Pittsburgh

School of Public Health at University of Pittsburgh设置的Department包括公卫最常见的Epidemiology、Biostatistics、Health Policy Management、Behavioral and Community Health Science、Environmental and Occupational Health，同JHU相似，它还有两个特别的分支Human Genetics与Infectious Diseases and Microbiology。

从School of Public Health at University of Pittsburgh的录取要求上来看，Pittsburgh大部分Department公卫的MPH，PhD，DrPH学位是需要GRE成绩的，而MSc与MHA(Master of Health Administration)对GRE不做要求，除了MSc in Epidemiology必须要求GRE。

IBT要求是80 for Admission，但是如果registration at GSPH需要IBT 100，如果没到100 must be tested for English proficiency by the University s English Language Institute (ELI)。

Pittsburgh的公共卫生学院是一定要通过SOPHAS来申请的，就是说成绩单和GT分数要寄到SOPHAS。

3. University of North Texas Health Science Center

Departments：Department of Biostatistics、Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Science、Department of Epidemiology、Department of Health Management and Policy、Department of Social and Behavioral Science。

Degree：MHA(Master of Health Administration)、MPH、DrPH、D.O./M.P.H. Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine/Master in Public Health、M.S./M.P.H. Master in Science-Applied Anthropology/Master in Public Health-Health Management Policy、M.S.N./M.P.H. Master of Science in Nursing/Masters in Public Health-Community Health。

Admission Requirements：IBT 79，GRE is required，一定要通过SOPHAS申请。
