Eligibility: College juniors who have a minimum undergraduate gpa of 3.2 or higher and are interested in becoming Foreign Service Officers in the U.S. Department of State.

W. Albert Cook Scholarship

Award: Three $1,500 scholarships to women interested in furthering their education as a non-traditional student.

Eligibility:

Be a high school graduate or have their GED.

Be a female who is currently enrolled or will be enrolling as a non-traditional student.

Be willing to submit income information if requested.

Cannot be a member of Junior League of Tulsa or be an immediate relative of a Junior League of Tulsa active member or sustainer.

Must live in the Tulsa area.

Deadline: Applications must be signed and received by 4:00 p.m. on December 15, 2011. Personal interviews will be required of finalists during February 2012.

Junior League Scholarship for Women

Eligibility: Must be a female, non-traditional student (a student who has gone back to school to further her education). She may have had a break in her education due to unforeseen life circumstances or a family situation. A non-traditional student may have decided to further her education after a life changing event or overcoming an obstacle. She may also have circumstances which limit her income avaliable for tuition.

Award: $1500 scholarship to 2 non-traditional female students.
