When it comes to what kind of volunteering service I would like to do for the seniors in the community, the first one coming to my mind is chatting with them and getting to know their needs. Coz you know, seniors in the community usually feel lonely since their families are often preoccupied with their jobs. In this case, their families would have little extra time to communicate with them. In the long run, they would end up frustrated and upset. However, by my spending time with the seniors, I can realize their way of thinking and what they like or dislike, thereby comforting them when they are sad and encouraging them when they feel sorrow. Plus, such kind of activities can also cultivate my responsibility and enhance my social as well as interpersonal skills.

When it comes to the quality of neighbor, the first one coming to my mind is kindness. Say I can take my personal experience as an example. If my memory serves me right, I met my neighbor Matt three years ago. Matt is very kind and never yells or shouts at me, but always encourages me whenever I encounter difficulties or setbacks in both my life and study. With his help, I become much stronger than bore. Well, honestly speaking, Matt is my best friend now because of his kindness and help and I am forever gratul for what he has done for me.
