　　Suicide Squad” has taken the title of top 2016 movie on IMDb, based on the number of page views on the film database site.

　　The top five films were all based on comic-book characters. Disney-Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” took the second slot, followed by Warner’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Fox’s “Deadpool,” and Fox’s “X-Men: Apocalypse.”

　　Despite negative reviews, “Suicide Squad” performed well at the box office with $745 million worldwide following its August release and solidified Margot Robbie as an A-list star for her performance as Harley Quinn. Warner Bros. began its publicity campaign a year earlier at Comic-Con in San Diego.
