【词根词源】意大利超级杯之calcio 足球、踢.

　　calcio n.足球、踢。这个单词实际是意大利语,还同时在意大利语中表示化学元素钙(Calcium,Ca)。熟悉意大利足球的朋友都知道AC米兰这个球队，全称是Milan Associazione Calcio米兰足球(和板球)协会，这里的calcio就表示football足球的意思，也就是AC米兰中的“C”。今天图片中Lega Calcio也就是足球联赛的意思。

　　有个关于脱鞋的笑话可能有朋友已经听过了，我把英文在这里贴出来，有兴趣的同学翻译下呀!

　　有趣的是，意大利的地图形状酷似一只踢向地中海的皮靴，而拉丁词根calcio则表示石灰、脚踵、践踏和鹅卵石，所以从这个角度想，脚-踢-足球-钙-石子，这一刻，这些相关因素灵魂附体，calcio一个人代表了意大利足球悠久的历史和传统，在这一刻它不是一个人在战斗，它不是一个人!意大利万岁!(模仿黄健翔解说门，呵呵)。

　　另外一个与calcio有关系的单词是calced adj.穿鞋的，来自拉丁语calceus，表示鞋，它的反义词当然是discalced adj.赤脚的。过去在乡下有一种能上门看病的医生叫做赤脚医生，英文直译是bare-feet doctor，现在看来真的是没有什么韵味，不如叫discalced doctor来的写意。
