　　Charles Dance is going from fantasy to sci-fi. The Game of Thrones actor has landed one of the starring roles in Syfy’s ambitious miniseries adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke’s sci-fi classic Childhood’s End, EW has exclusively learned.

　　Charles Dance将会参演科幻小说改编的迷你剧。Syfy电视台这部科幻美剧改编自作家C. Clarke的经典科幻小说《Childhood&aposs End》，Charles Dance将在剧中扮演主角。

　　The six-hour miniseries follows a breed of aliens called the “Overlords,” who manage to peacully invade and rule Earth, and create a pseudo-utopia that comes at the price of human identity and culture.

　　Dance recently appeared in the film Dracula Untold, and is best known for his acclaimed work on Thrones as scheming patriarch Tywin Lannister. He’s expected to make a bri appearance in the HBO drama’s upcoming fifth season.
