  Jiang Chuan, the marketing director of the development company, said that the average price of the compound’s apartments is 15,000 RMB per square meter. That afternoon, the client, accompanied by two lawyers, paid 3.6 million RMB as a downpayment on the 60 apartments. The remaining balance must be paid within one week. The 60 apartments account for a full third of all the units available.

  开发公司的营销总监姜川表示,住宅区公寓的平均价格为每平方米15000元人民币。那天下午,这位顾客在两名律师的陪同之下支付了360万元人民币作为这60套房的定金。其余的房款必须在一周之内补齐。这60套房占整个单元的三分之一。

  According to Jiang, since March, the property market of Chengdu has been steadily warming. Prices in this particular housing compound rose from 9,000 RMB per square meter in June to their current 15,000 RMB - an increase of 65 percent.

  根据姜川表示,自三月份以来,成都的房地产市场稳步升温。这一住宅区的房价从6月份的9000元人民币/平方米上涨至现在的15000元人民币/平方米,增加了65%。
