京昆高速37车连环相撞 现场惨烈！.

　　11月21日9时左右，京昆高速平阳段太原方向65KM+500M处，37辆车发生连环相撞，造成4人当场遇难，40人受伤入院。根据最新的官方通报，目前现场救援已经结束，事故造成17人遇难、37人受伤、56辆机动车不同程度受损。

　　当地政府部门22日早晨表示，伤者经过治疗后情况均已稳定。

　　普通的“车辆相撞”在英语中可以用car collision表示，如果是好几辆车“连环相撞”则会用pile up表示，名词形式为pileup，比如，这则新闻当中既用了动词形式“56 vehicles piled up on a Beijing-Kunming expressway”，也在标题中用到了名词形式“17 killed, 37 injured in N China pileup”。我们知道pile up原本的意思是“堆积”，在这里形容连环相撞的事故场面也的确很形象。

　　此外，crash也常用来表示“撞车”，但这里不一定是两车相撞，也可能是车辆撞到了别的物体上导致事故发生。所以，car crash包含的意义比car collision要广一些。另外，“飞机失事”也用plane crash来表示。
