  2011年英联邦各大医学院对IB成绩的认可到底有多高?下面我们来看看每个医学院给出的不同分数要求。

  Aberdeen:

To be considered, 3 subjects at Higher level (HL) at grade 6 or better plus 3 Standard Level (SL) subjects at average of grade 6. The subjects at Higher Level must include Chemistry, one of Maths or Biology or Physics, and one other subject. IB applicants must offer Chemistry plus a total of two sciences out of Maths, Biology or Physics (one of these must be offered at Higher Level). IB applicants must achieve at least 36 points overall, that excludes points for TOK and bonus points.

  Bart&apos&aposs and the London:

You should achieve an overall score of 36 points with grades 665 at Higher Level. A score of six must be achieved in Biology or Chemistry and you must have two science subjects at Higher Level overall. English should be offered at either Higher or Subsidiary level. NB!The 2011 prospectus states that “a score of six must be achieved in Biology and Chemistry” however according to an email from admissions office this is incorrect. Admissions say that “if you are taking both Biology and Chemistry to Higher Level we expect candidates to achieve a 6 in at least one of these. If you are taking both subjects to HL we will not specify which subjects to achieve a 6 in.”

  Birmingham:

This is acceptable with a minimum of 36 points, with at least 18 points at HL including Chemistry or Biology. NB! This information was taken from the 2011 prospectus, I&apos&aposd recommend contacting Birmingham to confirm whether or not they require specific grades in Biology or Chemistry HL. They may expect to see grade 6s and above in Biology HL and Chemistry HL but not care very much about the grade in the third HL subject.

  Brighton and Sussex Medical School:

We very much welcome applications from students who have taken, or are taking, the International Baccalaureate Diploma. You will normally need to pass the International Baccalaureate Diploma with 38 points overall, including at least 18 points in three Higher Level subjects.
