　　GMAT阅读主题题非常常见的一种结构规律是新老对比型的文章。比如OG, 390页的文章第一段 It was once believed that the brain was independent of metabolic processes occurring elsewhere in the body. In recent studies, however, we have discovered that the production and release in brain neurons of the neurotransmitter serotonin depend directly on the food that the body processes. 根据once 和recent两个词我们可以判断出来这篇文章是新老对比型的文章。这类文章的规律就是支持新观点，所以文章的主题也就是支持新观点。
