　　1. GMAT数据充分性问题的说明相当复杂。

　　做真题的时候，在着手解题之前，花些时间冷静的学习一下数据充分性问题的说明，是很有必要的。熟读、理解整个说明，熟记下面这五个选项，这五个选项对于每一道数据充分性问题都是一样的。考试时，千万不要再花时间看说明了。

　　A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked;

　　B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked;

　　C. BOTH statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are sufficient to answer the question asked, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient;

　　D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient to answer the question asked;

　　E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient to answer the question asked, and additional dataspecific to the problem are needed.

　　2. 搞清楚，你的目标是判定是否有足够的信息来回答问题。

　　不要花时间进行任何运算。GMAT数据充分性问题主要是考查数学概念，而不是数字运算的能力(那是标准多项选择的任务)。如果你发现自己在进行大量的笔头运算，那你一定走错了方向。

　　3. 和标准多项选择题中的几何图形不同的是，数据充分性问题的图形并不一定成比例——除非说明了图形是按比例作出的。不要目测角度大小、线段长度和面积。要利用数学知识处理题干给出的数字，来解决问题。

　　4. 要避免常见陷阱。

　　例如方根的正负性问题，树值的唯一性问题，以及must be与should be, could be这样的文字游戏。

　　5. 如果可以排除选项A或选项B中的一项，就可以排除选项D。

　　例如：Is CAB a code word in language Q?

　　(1) ABC is the base word.

　　(2) If C immediately follows B, then C can be moved to the front of the code word to generate another word.

　　这道例题中，一看第一项就没有说明生成新词的规则，因此A可以排除，D可以排除。剩下的工作就只有结合两条说明项，检查选项C的正误了。

　　6. 如果两条说明项中的一项就足够回答题干中的问题，就可以排除选项C和E了。

　　例如：What is the value of x?

　　(1) 3x = 24

　　(2) 4x < 36

　　很明显，第一条说明项就可以回答答题干中的问题，C和E就都被排除了。剩下的就看说明项(2)能不能确定x的数值了。
