　　GMAT语法考点是如何考查的呢?

　　1、语法规则。

　　1)句子结构——并列(句子1 the climate changed，句子2 pastures became deserts，and句子3 the inhabitants were forced to withdraw to the land bordering the Nile from their hunting grounds.)。

　　2)谓语动词形式——时态选择(B选项中过去完成时had been forced to，错)。

　　3)非谓语动词形式——分词短语(C选项中分词的完成时态作定语，错)。

　　2、词的使用。

　　1)习惯搭配——withdraw from;from…to…。

　　2)词的位置正确——划线部分的介词短语from their hunting grounds位置不对，应该靠近其修饰对象withdraw。

　　3、逻辑表达。

　　1)逻辑意思的单一性——划线部分的解题短语from their hunting grounds语法上应该就近修饰the Nile，而逻辑上应该修饰withdraw，所以其修饰对象不单一。

　　2)逻辑意思的单一性——the land与border the Nile的合理逻辑关系应该为：后者作为前者的动作具有客观性、多次性和重复性，五明确时间概念。应使用-ing形式做定语强调这一逻辑关系，这里不能用定语从句作定语强调动作的一次性和具体时间下的具体行为。所以B和D选项的that bordered the Nile，错。

　　两个基本要求的实现：

　　1、表达的准确性：C选项符合语法规则(时态were forced to)，句子结构正确(句子1，句子2and句子3)以及用词准确(withdraw from…to…)。
