　　21. V1. edwardalee :一 个music store Disc Depto 搞了个radio advertising，然后foot traffic大增，sales上升，profit上升，老板富得能退休了。三个街区外的买衣服的Carlo&aposs Clothing决定效仿，也搞一个radio advertising，因为过去三年他们的sales stagnant，并且归罪于他们在newspaper上的广告不给力。

　　分析其reasoning的合理性

　　v2. hechaoo: 有两家商店，一家是音乐的，叫什么Disco,另一家是卖衣服的，卖音乐的去年采用了广告策略，结果去店里人很多。所以，作者建议，卖衣服这家也要采取同样的策略。

　　V3樱桃小囧子 : 说的是有一家store，名叫Disc Depot，人家自从去年把广告方式换成radio advertising之后，收益大涨，这个可以从客流量的增加反映出来。然后又有另一家店，叫神马Carol&aposs Clothing(不晓得名字是不是这个，不重要反正)，这家店就没用radio advertising，结果近3年的收益都没大长进。结论：想要有更多的profits，必须把原来的news paper的广告方式改为frequent radio advertisements。

While the Disc Depot’s ownershave apparently become wealthy enough to retire, profits at Carlo’s Clothinghave remained stagnant for the past three years. In order to boost our salesand profits, we should therore switch from newspaper advertising to frequentradio advertisements like those for Disc Depot.”

　　由于Disc Depot，相邻街区的音像店从去年开始新的电台广告，它的业务显著增长，从商店人流量的大量增加就可以看出。当Disc Depot的老板显然已经足够富有可以退休时，Carlo&aposs服饰的利润3年来一直停滞不变。为了促进我们的销售和利润，我们应该像DiscDepot一样从报纸广告转向经常的电台广告

　　思路参考：

　　1. 错误类比。Depot Disc是music/entertainment industry而Carol’s Clothing是fashion，之类的。

　　2. 错误结论。increase of foot traffic可以说是有更多的顾客来或者是顾客在店里呆了更长时间，但是不一定是profit增加了。

　　3. Clothing store的profit少也许有别的原因，而不是marketing不够。
