　　Contrary to financial analysts, who predicted last year that the market for home computers would dwindle, the personal computer industry continued to show strong growth in the first quarter of this year.

　　A. analysts, who predicted

　　B. analysts, whose predictions

　　C. analysts and their predictions

　　D. analysts’ predicting

　　E. analysts’ predictions 答案(E)

　　A选项：prediction that中间不插入成分

　　B 选项：缺少谓语

　　C 选项：that只修饰prediction

　　D 选项：one’s doing是错误的

　　Ps: 我的解题思路是：找到主语是：the personal computer industry，因此，不可能与analysts形成对比关系，排除A, B, C;再考虑D的搭配有问题，predict的名词形式是prediction，选E.

　　Explain：contrary to 的用法

　　注意contrary to 后面所跟的成分与主句主语相对应一致就可以了。

　　10. Concerned that maintaining ....... and, in addition ... convincing 就是中间很长，找了半天才找到convincing。
