第十二题(烟草税)

　　V1貌似也是OG或PREP的题。增加对烟草的税收10%，希望可以以此增加政府收入减少吸烟人数。问结论是建立在什么假设基础上的。(by yangzidana (ID: 693517) )

　　V2某国要控制烟民，就加even higher levy。 并打算用多的tax revenue去fund education。 问下面那个会使两个目的都达不到?

Coponia is about to raise taxes on cigarettes by 9 cents per pack. The average price of cigarettes in Coponia is and has been for more than a year 90 cents per pack. So the tax hike stands an excellent chance of reducing per capita sales of cigarettes by four percent.

　　Which of the following is an assumption on which the argument depends?

　　A. Tobacco companies are unlikely to reduce their profit per pack of cigarettes to avoid an increase in the cost per pack to consumers in Coponia.

　　B. Previous increases in cigarette prices in Coponia have generally been due to increases in taxes on cigarettes.

　　C. Any decrease in per capita sales of cigarettes in Coponia will result mainly from an increase in the number of people who quit smoking entirely.

　　两个城市(设为A城和B城吧)。说俩地儿的什么人口啊，面积啊，医疗啊全都一样。(这些都是废话)然后说A城的摩托车事故要比B城多。但是A城的人均寿命却并不比B低(还是多了来着?记不清了) 让解释原因。 (by 茶瑞诗 (ID: 588147) )

　　答：我当时选的是 因为A城市里那些在遇到摩托车事故，但最终却活下来的人，并不比那些没遇到事故的人长寿。(就是说这些活下来的人并不影响人均寿命吧。)

　　第十四题(安全带和气囊)

　　说是某城自196X年以来，所有new cars 上都安装了安全带和气囊吧。然后解释了有这俩玩意儿对提高安全的好处。后面的对比有些记不清了，大概是说装了这些安全设施，交通事故却没有减少。

　　答：我当时选的是，因为装上这些安全设施后，车主在开车时会降低警惕性。。

　　第十五题(供电 financial problem )

　　有个地方开厂子燃烧秸秆麦麸之类的东西供电还是神马啊~然后秸秆麦麸当地人都不要啊~ 然后但是好像是价格卖不上去还是成本怎么了，(反正是一个financial problem)赚不了钱啊~

　　某个地区开发新药和新的医疗设备被提倡。虽然预算有所减少，但整体水准没变。

　　第十八题(人口增加 城市减少)

　　地区想要增加COMMUNITY的人口。并且好像是的确增加了，但整体能够成为城市的区域数量减少为13个。
