　　Task 1

　　The line graph illustrates the average attendance of top-level soccer league in the UK, Germany and Italy from 1980 to 2004.

　　三条线的动态图，是个比较简单的题目，在把握趋势句型的准确和多样形式的同时，需注意主题有所变化，动词+名词搭配应尽量做到变化，the attendance of …was the largest, most participants…,/visitors are the most likely to …; the number of views/spectators in … was the largest等。

　　Some think "vertical "City is the best, where people live and work in tall buildings. Others think "horizontal" City is better, where there is few tall buildings. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　这是一个典型的两个事物论证的题目。一旦碰到discuss both views类问法的题目，考生需特别注意不要一开始就亮明自己的态度，而是应该先从旁观者的角度论证说明清楚为什么这部分人是支持的，之后可适时表明自己的态度，对不支持的一方进行反驳。

　　Agree “horizontal cities”:

　　1. sporadic buildings create a more natural living environment (解释：more public spaces like zoos, parks even and green zones)---best system of cities

　　Disagree “horizontal cities”:

　　it is unrealistic in some cities, even everyone wants to settle in it --- Some more serious problems will arise (解释：poor public transport, people have to live in more remote area)
