   Force Bill: passed altogether in 1833 to authorize army use on tariff duties

  Indian Removal Act: removing them to Oregon through the “trial of tears”

   Black Hawk War: resistors bloodily crushed

  Bank War: Jackson veto the extension of US Bank

   Specie Circular: all public lands purchased by hard money; proposed to reduce inflation

  Whig Party: all Jackson’s enemies

  Nat Turner slave rebellion: an armed uprising in Virginia, in which slaved rebelled and killed every white they saw; later suppressed and hanged
