got H1B visa in beijing

Hi all, [b][b]Just wanna sharing my visa hunting experience with someone who may interest [b]in. Here is my background information. I got my degree right here in states [b]and have worked with my current company for more than 1 year (never [b]switched [b]company in between). [b][b]At first, I thought I could apply visa in Mexico or Canada. But, it will [b]cost [b]me too much energy, time, and money. In case that I got background check, I [b]would get stuck in those country for ever. Honestly speaking, I was kind [b]scared when I finally decided to apply visa in Beijing. Although many [b]people [b]told me that H1-B visa is very secure, I was keeping panic until I boarded [b]the [b]plane back to beijing. At that momment, I knew I had no way to change my [b]mind. [b][b][b]Anyway, back to story, my interview date was January 7th. The whole process [b]was pretty smooth. The officer was a lady and I guess she was not that [b]stricted since almost all the people in front of me got visa. She just [b]asked [b]me what I was doing and why I didnt come back after graduation. Also, she [b]only [b]looked at those materials listed in website and never check my degree [b]though. [b]I guess whole thing is less than 2 minute. Unfortunately, I saw many people [b]got rejected for visiting visa. [b][b]About the background or security check, my feeling is that it depends on [b]your [b]job nature and industry area of your company. The chance is slim.
