美国留学插画专业介绍.

　　人生充满无数个可能性，而我的工作承载着每个学生的梦想以及无限的可能性，意义重大，插画在中国被人们俗称为插图。今天通行于国外市场的商业插画包括出版物插图、卡通吉祥物、影视与游戏美术设计和广告插画4种形式。实际在中国，插画已经遍布于平面和电子媒体、商业场馆、公众机构、商品包装、影视演艺海报、企业广告甚至T恤、日记本、贺年片。　　

　　在现代设计领域中，插画设计可以说是最具有表现意味的，它与绘画艺术有着亲近的血缘关系。插画艺术的许多表现技法都是借鉴了绘画艺术的表现技法。插画艺术与绘画艺术的联姻使得前者无论是在表现技法多样性的探求，或是在设计主题表现的深度和广度方面，都有着长足的进展，展示出更加独特的艺术魅力，从而更具表现力。从某种意义上讲，绘画艺术成了基础学科，插画成了应用学科。纵观插画发展的历史，其应用范围在不断扩大。特别是在信息高速发达的今天，人们的日常生活中充满了各式各样地商业信息，插画设计已成为现实社会不可替代的艺术形式。

　　我们所说的插画，在当代这个语境中大多都可以定性为商业插画，商业插画在创作最初具有比较明确的目的性，需要围绕指定的主题或者关键词来构思和创作。除了我们所熟知的书籍中的插画，包装设计、电子产品设计上都会用到插画，我们逛街也经常会看到店铺门前挂的POP美工的广告牌，车站站牌、车体装饰也都是商业插画的一些延伸产物，华硕公司新推出的一款学生用笔记本电脑就是用藤蔓花卉的插画作为笔记本的机体装饰，带给人一种青春、愉悦、时尚的视觉感受，一改以往的笔记本商务、严肃的感觉，成为这款笔记本电脑的卖点。

　　从中我们可以看出插画在我们生活中的情感性应用，是以人为本为特征，关注人的需要。这不仅是当代插画的时代性特征，同时也顺应了经济规律，势必成为被众多企业及公司所争相看好的广告宣传方式。
