| The Academy of St. Xavier is a residential school for young men in grades 7-12. Located in northwest Iowa, in the middle of the Heartland, the area is renowned for its quality education, safe environment and rural hospitality. Students at St. Xavier attend school at St. Mary&apos&aposs, a small Catholic school located in Storm Lake. St. Xavier/St. Mary&apos&aposs have rigorous academics with quality athletic and fine arts programs. Students have unlimited opportunities for college credit courses and the ability to take AP Honors classes. Students live and learn the principles of the Catholic faith and character education. The small, close boarding school community makes for lifelong friendships and a quality high school experience. Recreational opportunities abound with Storm Lake, known for sailing, fishing and watersports as well as the close proximity to metro areas such as Sioux City, Des Moines and Minneapolis. The low student to teacher ratio and individual tutoring help students succeed in this college prepatory program at one of Iowa&apos&aposs top private schools. |
