美国大学电话面试问题汇总.

  我们今天要谈的是美国大学电话面试问题汇总。绝大部份学校要求资料齐全了才进行面试,有少部份学校会派校友前往面试或者在中国香港等地有面试官,绝大多数学校会安排美国大学电话面试。也有学校收到初步的咨询表就可以进行电话面试(比如Kent School) 。

  (1)美国东部时间和中国时差为11小时(夏令时为12小时) ,学生应主动写Mail、打电话给招生办公室预约电话面试的时间。

  (2)大多数学校要求由学生按预约时间打电话到学校。

  (3)开始和结尾

  要为开始准备一个2-3分钟的自我介绍。一定要不断地练习、背下来。

  感觉到谈话接近结尾的时候,要再次表示自己对该学校的兴趣,以及对面试官的感谢。例如:I would love to study with the School. Your help is very important for me. Thanks for your time. Very nice talking to you. 等等。

  (4)列出你认为美国大学电话面试可能问到的问题,准备好回答要点,但不要写出答案照读,一定要根据问题自然地回答。记住,这首先是一次谈话!!

  参考问题:(有些平行列出的问题,就是对同一件事情的不同的表述、了解重点,或者说话方式。)

  Why do you want to attend the school/transfer to US high school?/ What do you know about the School?

  What will you contribute to the School’s community? / What can you contribute to your goal?

  What courses have you enjoyed most? Why?

  Are your grades an accurate rlection of your potential?

  Which of your activities is the most rewarding and why?

  What has been your biggest achievement?

  How did you spend last summer? / What did you do in your spare time? / What did you gain from your learning experience/vacation/social work/ Extracurricular activities?

  What do you want to do after you graduate from the School?/ Where do you expect to be in your college? /For your career?

  What&apos&aposs the most difficult situation you&apos&aposve faced? / Give an example of a time when you handled a major problem. / What&apos&aposs the biggest challenge you&apos&aposve ever had? What action did you take?

  How do you manage your time? /How well do you learn under pressure? Give examples.

  Would you say you were a follower or a leader? / What do you consider your strengths/weaknesses? / Have you ever had a position of responsibility? / Give an example of a time when you showed initiative.

  If you could change one thing about your high school, what would it be?

  (5)对所有美国大学电话面试问题形成自己的想法,回答问题思路应本着:表现你的成熟、做好了海外独立学习生活的准备;表示你有挑战自我极限的愿望和准备;强调你的好学和在学业上的自我期许;探索世界、发现自我的热望;了解学术的、整体世界逻辑的责任感和自主意识;对一两项兴趣活动长期的爱好和投入。
