美国物理专业套磁经验(附套磁信模板).

　　我是先申请再套磁，寒假才开始正式套磁。对于本科没有任何research的人来说，学术套太就结了。我的方法是：

　　1、先定一个方向，比如现在很热的太阳能;

　　2、去学校网站上找个做这个的老师，看他的论文;

　　3、发邮件骚扰，问一个很浅显的问题，如果你能问出牛逼的问题更好。

　　我套磁的目的只是让这些老师知道我是谁，我想去你那读书，这样就够了。

　　先发一封信给教授，一周不回就再发一封，还不回就换老师，回了就开始聊。我想了想，是不是那些100+的学校也很难招到学生?我套的排名靠后的学校的教授基本都回了，排名靠前的回的不到一半。

　　I will finish a BS degree in Physics at XX University . I have applied to XX&aposs PhD program, fall 2011, and would be interested joining your research group.

　　I have read your homepage and learnt that you have focused on developing a fundamental understanding of the electronic and optical properties of novel materials systems. In your homepage, you also mentioned the research about photovoltaic materials such as GaAs solar Cells. Since I have spent lots of time on solid physics, learnt that there are some difficulties of growing solar cells (such as CdTe expitaxially on Si). And they can be partly solved by introducing an interracial layer, such as As, which has allowed the formation of coherent interface. But I wonder that isn&apost Arsenic poisonous to human? Does that has some side fect on the application of solar energy?
