　　I was born with a gift in music. I have experienced 18 springs and winters since I began to learn piano when I was four years old. 18 years witnessed me improving my playing skills day by day and harvest many “top prizes” in many contests. Working as a monitor and the president of the Students’ Union from primary school to the senior high school, along with the Member in Study in college, I largely improved my ability in decision-making and organizing and the creativity. The music drama, ballet and symphony have been my favorite since I was just a kid. So I was wondering how this gorgeous and vivid music was made and how the working staff behind curtain cooperate with each other. Pocketing this curiosity, I began to be longing for learning the management of the art market and design of the performances.

　　In my college time, apart from the excellent scores in every subject with my diligent study, I was kissed by the opportunity to participate in the design of the chain concerts to celebrate the 40th anniversary since the establishment of xxxx of Music and became the core member. In the vocal concert, I worked as a principal in ticket group, mainly responsible for connecting and inviting the musicians, making the site review of the Century Theater and recording detailed seat distribution. Finally, I carully designed a Audience Seat Distribution Map, which enabled every guest to enjoy the excellent performance beniting from a strict order. In the folk music concert, I was mainly responsible for the site supervision and arrangement. In the preparing stage, I firstly went to examine the layout of the dressing room and distribute the players and their dressing rooms. In the rehearsal, I was in charge of the layout of the musical instruments on the stage. Taking advantage of the full preparations bore, the performance ended very successfully with a high praise from people in all circles. In the school founding works concern, I was in charge of the case work by interviewing many famous composers to understand their backgrounds and creations. Besides, I got involved in the organization of the opening words and the propaganda after performance. From the chain of celebrations, I understand the whole performing process comprehensively, which aroused my hot interest in the art management.

　　The participation of the celebrations has largely aroused my confidence in designing the concerts. In the second year, I designed the piano professional concert for my teacher, Professor xxx, in which I worked as the designer, organizer and emcee. Bore the concert, I connected the TV station, made the banner in shop and invited many related professors, experts, musical educationalists and artists to the site. In the performing site, I was appointed as the emcee, who successfully chaired the concert. Besides, in the making of the performances, I suggested adding the performances with both teachers and students participating in combined with the solo singing, which was finally adopted by the teacher and highly spoken of by the school leaders, teachers and other artists. Through the completed design of the concert, I got more familiar with the whole process of management and organization. Meanwhile, my organizing ability and creativity was largely improved.

　　During the four years’ study in xxx, I learnt much professional knowledge and got many opportunities to participate in the international exchange. It is still clear in my mind that once I participated in the academic exchange between China Conservatory of Music and Austria Conservatory of Music in our school in 2006, in which I was mainly responsible for the foreign receptions and the arrangement of the performance. From the meeting in the airport to the seeing off, I completed every step very carully in a perfect order, which was high spoken of by many foreign experts. In the exchange, the musician needed many audio files about Mozart, some of which was not collected in our library. Facing this difficulty, I went to seek them in the National Library and many audio shops. Finally, I found more than 50 discs to meet the need of the exchange. Besides, I went to the audio studio to check the players to maintain the smooth working of the instruments for the performance and lectures.

　　Never too old to learn! I deeply realized that what I have learnt was only the professional foundation for the further study. As a girl with a big appetite for knowledge, I hope to learn more embedded and latest knowledge to cultivate my art creativity. Therore, I decided to study for the master’s degree. Attracted by your XXX department in your esteemed university, I believe that I can melt myself in this field to get a promising future.
