A campus police officer shot and killed a suspect in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Mondaynight. The Spartanburg Methodist College campus went into lockdown. A second suspect wascaught.

And an 800-pound alligator who was found in a shopping center near Houston has beenreleased in a gator reserve. Some people discovered the gator in Sugar Land when they arrivedfor work on Saturday.
