Faculty Position in Cell Signaling at the University of Houston
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston invites applications for the rank of Assistant Professor. Applicants with special interests and a record of accomplishment in molecular genetics of cancer biology, immunology, or systems biology of cell signaling are encouraged to respond. Successful applicants will join the Center for Nuclear Receptors and Cell Signaling (CNRCS), and will complement existing departmental strengths in neuroscience, developmental biology, cell and molecular biology and the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation. The position requires a Ph.D., or M.D. and significant relevant experience. Faculty members are expected to maintain nationally competitive externally funded research programs and to participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching.
