2017年4月29日：英国签证有可能要面签

去年，英国内政部公布了将对更多签证申请者进行面试，其中包括申请第四层级学生签证的申请者。在中国，这将于今年4 月29 日开始试行，申请第四层级学生签证的申请者在签证申请中心递交材料的同时将有可能被要求面试。参加面试的申请者将随机选取，真正的学生不需要担心。面试将由英国签证官通过视频进行。
Dear UK representatives and agents,

各位英国院校代表及中介朋友：

The UK Home Office announced last year that it will be interviewing more visa applicants,including Tier 4 students. As part of the initial roll out in China from April 29 students who apply for a Tier 4 visa in China may be required to be interviewed at the visa application centre when they submit their application. Selection for interview will be random and genuine students will have no need to be concerned about the process. The interviews will be conducted by visa officers in the UK via a video link.

This new system will improve the integrity of the visa decision making process and act as a safety net to filter out any remaining abuse. It will also protect genuine students and institutions from those seeking to abuse the immigration system and ensure the UK continues to attract the brightest and best students from China. The interviews will not require much time and will better facilitate the application process for students.

这个新的面试体系将使整个签证流程更加完善，并防止学生签证体系被滥用。这将保护真正的学生和院校，确保英国继续吸引优秀的中国学生。面试过程不会耽误学生太多时间，并将更好地帮助学生申请签证。

The UK continues to welcome genuine students from China. In 2012, the UK Home Office issued over 57,000 student visas, with an increase of around 9% compared to 2011. With increased quality applicants for student visas in China, rusal rates have dropped from 14% in 2010 down to 2% in 2012. As you can see from the very low rusal rates, there should be very little impact for China as we already have very high quality students applying to the UK.

英国继续欢迎中国的优秀学生赴英留学！2012 年，英国内政部在中国签发了超过57,000 份学生签证，比 2011 年增长约9%。在中国，因为高质量的学生申请不断上升，拒签率从2010 年的14%下降到2012 年的2%。从上述这么低的拒签率可以看出，赴英留学的中国学生质量很高，所以相信该措施对中国学生影响不大。

如何做好面签准备?

同时提醒请大家及时做相应的面试准备，包括进行口语和听力的强化练习及注重平时的积累。尤其注意要记住他们申请专业的详细名称!例如, BA(Hons) International Business (Top-Up) 不要简单说成申请商科的课程。要记住具体的课程名称，重要的记住CAS信中的信息。

具体的面试问题可能会多种多样，但同时有一些实用的小技巧可以进行分享，以供参考。

1、如果是面对面测试的话，请务必要提前一些到达指定地点，不要迟到。

2、保持轻松及良好的心态。面试官希望与学生进行自然顺畅的沟通交流，学生太过于紧张不仅会影响自己的发挥，也会让面试官感觉到不适，只要顺着面试官的问题进行认真回答就可以，不需要有太大心理压力。

3、尽量多了解一些英国国家、自己所选择的学校及学习领域的相关知识，明确自己为什么这样选择的理由。同时，也要对自己在国内的学习及生活情况能够有清晰的表达。

4、注意面试礼仪。无论是面对面测试还是电话面试，都需要注意面试的礼貌。良好的举止和谈吐，不仅是学生自身素质的体现，也表达了对面试官的尊重。说话沟通的时候，语速不要过快，可以稍作考虑后再进行回答。同时，面试完成后记得对面试官表达感谢。

5、不要过多关注自己的语言或者语法错误。有的学生一旦认识到有错误就会显得很紧张，影响接下来的发挥，甚至产生了更多的错误，因此造成恶性循环。如果意识到有错误的话，可以暂时忽略掉，稍作情绪整理后按照之前的思路继续进行回答即可。面试官一般都会注重学生的整体结果，不会细究其中出现的少量错误。
