英国留学申请：推荐信写作要求及注意事项

申请材料，除了学历，成绩单之外，还有一份很重要的文件：推荐信（Letter of Rerence）

推荐信 其实就是让推荐人，好好赞美你一番，好好夸夸你~~

但是，往往在英国大学官网上，查不到太多对推荐信的要求

比如

two rerences from people who are able to comment on your suitability for the programme for which you are applying

You will usually be asked to provide rerences in support of your application.

two academic rerences (at least one will be required at the time of application

Two academic rerences or if appropriate to the programme applied for, one could be from your employer

这么简单的要求，怎么写呢？也不给个方向、思路，这要怎么夸呢？

但也有贴心的大学，怕童鞋找不到北，给了如下指南

Two academic rerences

You should arrange to supply two academic rerences (from tutors who have taught you at university) as part of the online process. This is a secure and confidential service for rerees and helps speed up the decision-making process. You should use your reree s academic (university) email address when requesting a rerence.

Current students and applicants who graduated from their most recent study after January 2014must supply two academic rerences. Rerences should be from a teaching member of your current (or, if you have graduated, from your most recent) university department.

Applicants who graduated from their most recent study bore January 2014 may supply one non-academic rerence in place of one of your academic rerences. This should normally be a rerence from your most recent employer (see our guidance for professional rerences).

Applicants who graduated from their most recent study bore January 2012may supply two professional rerences if they are unable to provide academic rerences. It is in your interests to supply academic rerences wherever possible.

一、推荐信要写多少字数呢？

推荐信不宜过长，400-500英文单词足矣

二、选谁来夸我合适呢？

任课教师：教你所以懂你啦，注意这门科目成绩也要好哟，否则白夸；

项目论文导师：参与项目/论文，对你有所了解，有足够接触的时间；

学院领导：最好是教过你的老师，或者在某个学校大型活动中有接触

单位领导：如工作，单位领导推荐

三、夸什么呢？值得推荐哪些方面呢？

任课老师：突出学习能力、学习方法、学习习惯、学习态度以及学业潜力等方面；

项目老师：可以突出你的科研能力；

学院校长：可以突出综合素质、能力特长、课内外整体表现等；

单位领导：工作的话突出工作能力，工作表现。

四、推荐信的格式要求？

1、介绍部份。

首先应该明确地介绍推荐人的情况，工作单位、职位、与学生的关系以及与学生相处的时间长短等。在这一部份也可以给被推荐人一个总体的评价。

2、主体部分。

重点讲述学生一至两个优秀品质，并且用有力的事实证明加以辅佐，千万不要罗列事列，不要蜻蜓点水地介绍。

3、结论部份。

解释为什么学生的申请计划是适合他本人的，还可以说明你认为该学生未来会对申请的学校做出什么样的贡献。最后可以再次强调你对学生充满信心，同时表示学校在审核材料的过程中可以随时联系推荐人。

五、写作注意事项：

1、一定要有具体的事例加以佐证，切忌用一些非常空泛的形容词；

2、推荐人应熟悉学生，这样写出来才会真实有感；

3、一定是以老师的口吻来写，注意用词和写作口气；

4、推荐信内容尽量不要与PS内容重复，浪费可利用空间。
