所有学生必须有良好的英语水平来完成学习。因此，边山大学要求学生必须提供以下任一项证书：

* GCSE or IGCSE 英语 - grade C 或以上

* IELTS - 6.5

* TOEFL - 560 (笔试); 220 (机试)

Nursing, midwifery and other health care programmes were commended in all areas assessed by the QAA and Department of Health in 2005, namely student progression, quality of learning, and teaching and learning resources. Furthermore, Edge Hill was the first and one of few providers to be awarded Ofsted s Grade 1 for Management and Quality Assurance in both Primary and Secondary Initial Teacher Training.
