英国留学行前指南之利兹大学

　　随着2014入学季的到来，准留学生们陆续为海外留学做行前准备。近日，英国利兹大学发布入学消息，提醒准备赴英入读利兹大学的同学，一定要做好行前准备工作，资金担保一定要发给学校，否则将影响注册报到。

　　There is a lot you can do bore you arrive at the University to make your first week with us as smooth as possible. Please read the information below carully and follow the advice.

　　资金担保

　　*VERY IMPORTANT: FOR SPONSORED STUDENTS ONLY*(详情咨询)

　　You should have already sent the FINANCIAL GUARANTEE from your sponsor (e.g. your embassy) to the Language Centre. If you have not done this, you need to do it immediately because you will not be able to register with the University of Leeds

　　until you produce a valid Financial Guarantee. This is very important. You cannot begin your studies at the Language Centre until you are registered as a student at the University of Leeds.

　　银行开户

　　It may take some time for you to open a bank or cash account once you are in the UK. Please think about using an alternative to cash such as a credit card while you are waiting to open a bank account.

　　It is not a good idea to carry large sums of money around with you.
 

　　费用支付

　　An invoice for the total balance of your tuition fees will have already been issued bore the course start date by email. The email will include instructions of how to pay and you must make the payment in full in advance of the course start date.

　　Failure to pay these fees in advance may result in a late payment charge of £50.00 and you will not be able to register as a student of the University of Leeds or attend classes until all fees are received.

　　Please note, you should not make the payment until you have received the invoice.

　　校园住宿

　　Students who have contracts to stay at the University Accommodation, please check the start of your contract carully and ensure that if you arrive bore the start date, you have booked accommodation for yourself.

　　There will be no availability at the university accommodation if you arrive earlier than the start date on your contract.

　　行前准备

　　Take a look at the Leeds University Union website for information on events you can attend and clubs and societies that you can join during your time at Leeds.

　　You can also access help and advice on a variety of issues from housing to health and well being.

　　不要迟到

　　It is very important that you arrive and are ready to start on the first day of your course (Monday 4th August). If you are late, you may not be allowed to join the course.
