英国肯特大学开设新专业

　　学生背景要求：

　　Suited to any student with an undergraduate biological background, and potentially also medical graduates.(详情咨询)

　　授课方式：

　　Through a combination of lectures, small-group seminars and practical classes, students will apply this training towards the development of new strategies to combat the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria, schistosomiasis, SARS, Ebola, HIV, TB and hospital-acquired infections.

　　学习内容：

　　Modules include: bacterial pathogens: emerging and neglected threats, viral pathogens, fungi as human pathogens, advances in parasitology, and practical and applied research skills for advanced biologists.

　　MA Applied Linguistics for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)

　　学生背景要求：

　　Designed for new international teachers and those with more experience who would like to develop, deepen and enhance their knowledge, skills and practice。

　　学习内容：

　　The programme covers the areas of linguistics that inform classroom practice (such as syntax, morphology, semantics, pragmatics and phonetics), and applies them to Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

　　The programme starts with three linguistics modules (Sounds, Structure and Meaning) and a module on language awareness for teachers (Language Awareness and Analysis) so that students have a firm grasp of the linguistic bases of language teaching and how to apply them to the classroom.
