It is designed to provide BSc(Hons) and BEng(Hons) qualified Civil and Structural Engineers with the educational base required for Chartered Structural Engineer status, and to help graduates satisfy some of the IStructE IPD requirements.
This programme is a unique collaborative venture between the School of Civil Engineering, local and regional industry and the Yorkshire Branch of the IStructE.
Example taught modules include: Advanced Concrete Design, Advanced Steel and Composite Structures, Advanced Structural Analysis, Architectural Engineering Studies, Design and Management of Structures in Earthquake Zones, Design Optimisation, Foundation Engineering, Structural Engineering Practice.
