First Stop:
Victoria's Inner Harbor
维多利亚内港
The social hub of Victoria, the Inner Harbor is a must-see when visiting the city. Museums, galleries and the world-famous Empress Hotel are all a stone's throw away while busking musicians entertain cosmopolitan audiences along the seawall that edges the Pacific Ocean. Plus, if you choose to do so, this is your departure point for an exciting whale watching tour.

Second stop:
Parliament Buildings
国会大厦
British Columbia's capital, Victoria is home to the statuesque provincial Parliament Buildings. The lawns of the Parliament are the perfect place for a picnic or take a tour and find out how Canadian Provincial government works.

Vancouver's Lifestyle
温哥华的生活方式
Yes, we are laid back. We spend a great deal of time outdoors and we're active. Our city has a youthfulness and vitality. Our climate is mild, which means we can golf and sail year round. The mountains that overlook the city are only half an hour from downtown, allowing us to hit the slopes at a moment's notice all season long - even right after work for an evening of night skiing. But we also enjoy the finer things in life, and can choose from some of the finest dining in North America and award-winning B.C. wines.

And We're Cultured - We're home to a world class Symphony Orchestra, Opera Company, Ballet Company and numerous arts clubs, playhouses, nightclubs and theatres. The summer of 2003 saw Cirque du Soleil perform to sold-out crowds every night. The summers are always jamed packed in Vancouver when festival season starts. It kicks off with the Children's Festival in May, leads into the International Jazz Festival and Dragon Boat Festival in June, gains momentum with the Folk Fest in July and rounds out with the Celebration of Lights Fireworks competition in July and August, to name just a few.

City Guide
城市资讯
Vancouver is the city the rest of Canada loves to hate (and would move to in a minute if they could). The snow, it seems, falls mainly on the ski slopes, sandy beaches are a tie-loosening stroll from the office towers, chic cafés a quick rollerblade from wilderness parks, and no one seems to work very much. If this country has a hotbed of hedonism, idleness and unfettered hippie Dom, Vancouver is it.
Well, not entirely. Culturally, Vancouver is as much Asian as North American...

Restaurants
餐厅
Vancouver’s chs have recently shed the yoke of Canadian cookery for a new regional cuisine based on the province’s abundant organic produce, seafood, game, and yes, British Columbian wines. Salmon is ubiquitous (wild and rare is prerred) but have a look out for some lesser-known local catches such as halibut cheeks and sablish.
