签证的有效期：签证的有效期，是指从签证签发之日起到以后的一段内准许持有者入境的时间期限，超过这一期限，该签证就是无效签证。一般国家发给3个月有效的入境签证，也有的国家发给1个月有效的入境签证。有的国家对签证有效期限制很严，如只按申请日期发放签证。过境签证的有效期一般都比较短。
