We expect all our students to attend 100% of their classes as we know from our experience of supporting learners, that good attendance gives students the best chance of academic success.

In addition, to hold a UK study visa, students need to demonstrate that they are serious and motivated about their studies. We are required to report to the Home Office (Visas and Immigration)any students who are not committed to their studies, and attendance of 80% or lower is often an indication of this. If a student is reported, they run the risk of having their visa withdrawn.

Some of our host and partner universities also now stipulate that students have a certain attendance average as one of their entry requirements.

80% to 85%	This level of attendance is below what the college expects. 这个水平的出勤率略低于学校的期望。   We expect the student to take full advantage of the learning opportunities available to them at the college and improve their attendance level to above 85%. They must avoid the risk of being reported and having their study visa withdrawn. 学校希望学生能够充分利用学校提供的学习条件，希望学生把出勤率保持在85%以上，以避免被上报到使馆备案，对以后造成不良影响。
70% to 79%	This level of attendance is below what the college expects. 这个水平的出勤率低于学校的期望。   It indicates that the student is not taking advantage of the learning opportunities available at the college and is not serious about their studies. They therefore risk being reported to the Home Office (Visas and Immigration)and losing their study visa.    这种水平的出勤率表明学生没有充分利用学校提供的学习条件，并且在学习方面非常不认真。有可能被报备到使馆，进而被取消学生签证。 We have contacted the student about their very low attendance and reminded them that they must improve their rate of attendance immediately. 像这种情况，学校一般会提出警告，告知注意尽快提高出勤率。
69% and below 69%以下	This level of attendance is not acceptable. 这个水平的出勤率是学校不能接受的。   It indicates that the student has not been taking advantage of the learning opportunities available at the college and is now significantly below the minimum level of attendance expected. They are at high risk of being reported to the Home Office (Visas and Immigration) and losing their study visa. 这个水平的出勤率表明学生没有很好的利用学校提供的学习条件，明显低于学校所期望的出勤率。这种情况极有可能被上报给使馆（UKVI），甚而被取消签证。   We have contacted the student about their very low attendance and reminded them that they must improve their rate of attendance immediately. 像这种情况，学校一般会跟学生提出警告，以警示学生尽快提高出勤率。
